Huber Heights to buy Premier land behind shopping center
Huber Heights City Council will consider buying land from Premier Health along Brandt Pike at its meeting on Monday.

“We have been attempting to get a deal with Premier on this land for quite some time,” said Huber Heights City Manager Rob Schommer.
The city hopes to be a catalyst for development on Brandt Pike, one of the busiest roads in Huber Heights, with the purchase of the shopping center and the Premier Health land.

The study asked 2,000 Americans about how their views on grocery shopping have changed in light of the global pandemic, and the results showed that respondents are open to exploring new ways they can get their groceries.
Conducted by OnePoll on behalf of HelloFresh , the survey found that 68% of respondents have used their time in quarantine to reevaluate their food shopping and cooking habits.

According to Colonie Center's website, temporary hours for shopping will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Sunday. The mall will be open for walking from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. daily for walking. Also a "Golden Hour" on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to noon will be reserved for vulnerable guests, including senior citizens, expectant mothers and those with underlying health concerns.
