BAY CITY, MI -- This fall, City Market will expand into a one-stop marketplace and farmer's market. However, That Guy's BBQ and Meats won't be part of the new "City Market 2.0."
City Market is a nonprofit that seeks to make fresh, local food easily accessible to downtown Bay City residents, according to founder Matthew Meehan. The market recently announced that it will expand its offerings come September to become a "one of a kind" marketplace for its patrons.

The DORO Restaurant Group is about two months away from launching its next venture, DORO Marketplace, in West Hartford. It's a fast-casual concept: part grocery store, coffeehouse and bakery, with counter service and grab-and-go meals.
Scott Miller, DORO's chief operating officer, said the Marketplace, at 1253 New Britain Ave., should be open by September. COVID-19 delays pushed the opening back slightly, as ovens, mixers and other kitchen equipment needed to arrive from Italy.

MARINA – The first of what organizers say will be many free food distribution and marketplace events is coming to the Veterans Transition Center in Marina next week.

On Tuesday, July 21, the drive-in will show "Navigating Thru." A movie about a group of women attempting to hike the entire Appalachian Trail, which only about 25% of people who attempt it, accomplish.
