City staff has created a web page – www.suisun.com/cannabis – that provides all the necessary documents.
“We are excited to open up this opportunity for new business in our community,” City Manager Greg Folsom said in a press release. “Economic development is a priority of this council and we expect to have lots of interest for new commercial cannabis opportunities.”

Tigertree Closing Storefront After 14 Years in Short North
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Outside of Short North-based boutique Tigertree, there is a message: "This Was Preventable."
For owner Josh Quinn, who started the independent retail business in 2007, that message speaks volumes about these uncertain times.
"I don't understand how this public health crisis, with clear scientific data, has become a political issue at all. How much better and how much of this was preventable if we would have had a mandate in March," said Quinn.

SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) - San Francisco is seeing an increase in vacant businesses citywide, and are now considering a plan to repopulate those storefronts and keep them active.
Vacant storefronts were a problem before the pandemic. Now the city is looking at providing COVID-related services in those vacant spaces.
San Francisco has been struggling with vacant storefronts for years, and in March approved a plan to tax building owners who let storefronts sit empty. With the pandemic, that tax has been put on hold until 2022, but Supervisor Hillary Ronen is still working to keep those storefronts occupied.
