Visit Orlando's new ad campaign focuses on "Statecation"

The tourism industry has taken a big hit during the coronavirus pandemic. Attendance is down at theme parks, and hotel occupancy has taken a dive as well.

As the tourism industry waits and struggles to get visitors to come back, Visit Orlando has launched a new ad campaign.

The promotional video shared with the Orange County Board of Commissioners Tuesday shows how Visit Orlando hopes to get tourists to return.

They also unveiled a new campaign titled "Off to Orlando" which focuses on getting Florida residents to take what they call a "statecation."

Now that's a M*** F** ad campaign Prolific North

A television advert will feature on Channel 4 throughout August and September. This will be supported by traditional print advertising, 12 branded electric cars, out of home and radio.

The 'Now that's a M… F… Burger' is a change of direction for the firm, as it aims to grow its market share, by targeting meat eaters.

"Throughout lockdown, we've seen a surge in sales, with more and more Brits trying, or considering making the swap to plant-based, even if it is just once a week," said Chief Growth Officer, Michael Hunter.

Fortenberry's second TV campaign ad will be negative | Federal Government | journalstar.com

Rep. Jeff Fortenberry's campaign plans to follow up on its initial positive television ad of the 2020 congressional campaign with a negative TV ad tying Democratic nominee Kate Bolz to remarks she made upon returning from a trip to China in 2018.

The new TV ad, which is expected to begin to air later this week, presumably will be similar to radio and digital attack ads aired by the Fortenberry campaign hours after Bolz won the 1st District Democratic nomination last May.

PETA ad campaign blames meat-eating for causing the pandemic - Insider

"Tofu never caused a pandemic," the ad reads, next to a cartoon of a wide-eyed and smiling block of the soy protein.

The ads debuted in May and have been featured on billboards, park benches, and on face masks for sale in PETA's online merchandise shop. There's even a full-size tofu costume you can buy, complete with a little sign bearing the slogan.

Months later, the campaign has generated controversy on social media, after a picture of the ad on a local park bench went viral.

Portugal: Algarve tourism bureau to run UK ad campaign insisting region is safe

The Algarve Tourism Association (ATA) is to seek to press home in the UK the message that Portugal’s southernmost region is a safe place to visit, with an advertising campaign to be broadcast on Channel 5 television station.

On 24 July, the UK left Portugal off its list of countries covered by ‘air corridors’ to which residents may travel without having to spend 14 days in quarantine on their return. That confirmed the restriction it had first imposed at the start of the month.
