Upper West Sider Barbara Anderson spearheaded the project, which is called "Art on the Ave". Other members of the team include her daughter, Jackie Graham, and colleague Leigh Majer. The city Planning Commission last month approved a site plan for the proposed Luv Slice pizza takeout restaurant, which would use just a portion of the former space of Ford Piano at 15. S. Division St. The building, with its distinctive piano keys displayed across the top of the storefront, is in the heart of downtown.

Vegan bakery Crust recently opened a storefront in Philadelphia, PA. Though the bakery has been operating in a catering capacity since 2015, delivering to more than 50 shops in and around the city, owners Shannon Roche and Meagan Benz decided to invest in a retail storefront to keep their staff employed during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
“We have made a ton of efforts during the pandemic to keep our entire staff paid while they waited to receive unemployment for over a month—and also several of our staff were entirely denied any form of unemployment who we paid their full wage even when there was not anywhere near full-time work,” Roche told VegNews. “We have done everything from selling merch and contactless deliveries every weekend to selling our recipes on our website.
Boulder boutique Jones + Co. taking over Warby Parker storefront – Longmont Times-Call
Jones + Co., a boutique seller of clothing, home goods and jewelry, is taking over the Boulder storefront previously occupied by Warby Parker.
The upscale eyewear retailer moved from its space at 1949 Pearl St. this month to a larger shop at the Twenty Ninth Street shopping district.
Jones + Co is moving into the roughly 900-square-foot Pearl Street storefront owned by FH Properties LLC from its current home at 2023 17th St.
