Podcast analytics and attribution startup Chartable raises $2.25M – TechCrunch

He argued that in some ways, history is repeating itself, and that Chartable serves a similar function for podcasts as analytics companies like App Annie do for the App Store. At the same time, he suggested that podcasting is a very different market.

“It’s more fragmented, it’s not just Apple and Android, and there’s a billion different business models,” Zohrob said. “There’s a lot more complexity.”

As for whether upcoming privacy changes in iOS could affect Chartable’s attribution tools, Zohrob said it shouldn’t make “a huge difference,” because the data for podcast attribution is so limited already.

Maxis goes deep in data analytics, rolls out Google Cloud - Channel Asia

Maxis has unveiled plans to integrate data analytics across every aspect of the business - from consumers to enterprise, network, retail channels and employees - following internal adoption of Google Cloud.

Central to such efforts will be transitioning 100 per cent of the company's business intelligence, data analytics and machine learning on-premises workloads to the cloud, in a move designed to deliver "timely and secure insights".

Under the banner of a digital analytics transformation program, the Malaysian telecommunications giant has also established a centre of excellence focusing on big data, advanced analytics and artificial intelligence, housing "deep skilled" data scientists in the process.
