Huge 'Bitcoin Tram' Ad Campaign and 20 Billboards Flood Hong Kong's Financial

A massive Bitcoin ad campaign has launched in the heart of Hong Kong’s financial district, featuring three Bitcoin trams and 20 matching billboards. It is a community initiative coordinated by the Bitcoin Association of Hong Kong, an organization with more than 5,000 members.

The Bitcoin Association of Hong Kong announced Friday the start of a massive bitcoin awareness initiative called the Bitcoin Tram campaign. Various ads are scheduled to run between Sept. 11 and Oct. 8. During that time, three doubledecker bitcoin trams of various lines will cruise the east and west tracks on Hong Kong Island, each plastered with the Bitcoin logo.

Burger King Sucks Face With Ronald McDonald in New Ad Campaign

Burger King celebrated Helsinki Pride in Finland with a most unusual advertising campaign that featured their royal mascot kissing Ronald McDonald.

The images, which appeared in public spaces throughout Finland, were part of September's Helsinki Pride Celebration, MediaPost reports . The image shows the famous icons making out — with only the back of Ronald McDonald's head visible — and the accompanying message: "Love Conquers All."

"Burger King has always stood for equality, love and everyone's right to be just the way they are," Burger King Finland's Brand Manager Kaisa Kasila said in a statement.

AD WATCH: Fact-checking Biden campaign ad about Social Security benefits

WGAL News 8's Matt Barcaro examines a political ad by the Joe Biden campaign with a warning that President Donald Trump would deplete Social Security benefits in three years.

The root of the claim comes from Trump's recent statements about the payroll tax, which is a tax that workers and employers pay to fund Social Security.

The president signed a memo last month that allows employers to defer the employee portion of the tax from September through December. The payroll tax deferral is voluntary.
