SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) - Andelin Family Farm in Sparks has had to change its business model to host customers safely this fall.
Co-owner Cameron Andelin and his staff have spaced out ticket times, ask customers to wear masks, and have put signage all over the farm to remind people to stay socially distant and to sanitize regularly.
Andelin Family Farm offers fun activities including petting zoos, a corn maze, a pumpkin patch and much more.

Mississippi Power reopening bill payment offices to customers
BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - After roughly six months, Mississippi Power is reopening its bill payment offices in Gulfport, Hattiesburg and Meridian on Monday, Oct. 5.
Customers visiting the offices in-person can expect several safety procedures and precautions in place to limit the spread of COVID-19.
"The safety of our customers and employees is our first priority," said Area Manager Arnie Williams. "While we're pleased to reopen the offices as another step towards normal operations, we'll continue to be mindful and cautious to ensure our customers have a safe experience."

Entergy Arkansas customers can expect to save nearly $94 million in 2021 from the utility's membership in the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO), a regional transmission organization, the utility announced Thursday (Oct. 1).
The proposed credit is $19.6 million more than customers saved in 2020, according to a filing with the Arkansas Public Service Commission. After commission approval, an average residential customer using 1,000 kilowatt-hours per month will have a 25% increase in the MISO credit.

New bike lanes protect Logan Square cyclists but keep customers away, some business owners say -
The city has installed plastic curbs and bollards to protect bicyclists on one of the city's most dangerous streets for traffic accidents. But one local business owner said the loss of parking has cost him one-third of his revenue.
Milwaukee Avenue in Logan Square is now home to the city's newest public safety initiative for bicyclists: bike lanes protected with plastic curbs and bollards.
The street is one of the most heavily traveled routes in all of Chicago, with nearly 500 accidents in less than five years, according to Ald. Daniel La Spata (1st). Chicago's traffic safety data shows two-thirds of crashes from 2014 to 2018 on Milwaukee Avenue involved people walking and biking. The $320,000 bike lane expansion project funded by the Chicago Department of Transportation is expected to dramatically lower that number.
Secretary of State offering priority driver's license, ID appointments for some customers
LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Friday Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson announced branch offices would offer priority driver's license and state ID appointments from Monday, Oct. 5, through Monday, Nov. 2.
These priority appointments will be available from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. They are for Michigan residents who need to get a first-time license or ID, replace (because of loss) a license or ID, or correct (because of a name change or other change) a license or ID.
