Easyship Joins Shopify Certified App Program | PYMNTS.com

Online shopping software firm Easyship has become part of the Shopify Plus Technology Partner Program, which provides retailers with access to business solutions, according to a Thursday (Oct. 1) announcement .

Retailers that harness Shopify Plus and Easyship can utilize Easyship's complete product collection.

In addition, Easyship says merchants can "sell at scale" and own the experience following a client's purchase by combining Essyship's omnichannel shipping technology with the multi-channel platform of Shopify Plus.

Kylie Jenner's cosmetics company hit in Shopify data breach - Business Insider

Kylie Jenner's makeup company has warned customers that their data — including parts of their credit card numbers — may have been exposed in a Shopify security breach.

The cosmetics company, which uses Shopify for its online transactions, said it was "deeply disappointed" to learn that the breach affected its customers.

'Rogue' Shopify employees may have stolen customer data from 200 shops - Business

The incident involved data from less than 200 merchants, who the company has notified. More than 1 million merchants use Shopify to sell their goods online.

The company said there was no evidence that the data had been used, but that it was still in the "early stages" of its investigation. Shopify was working with the FBI and other international crime agencies, it said.

Australian dev aims to bring Cardano payments to Shopify stores

An Australian developer has almost completed work on a Cardano ( ADA ) app that will allow all Shopify stores to transact in ADA tokens and other tokens that run on the Cardano network. The project is being developed voluntarily by Jeronimo Backes who wants to help bring utility to the blockchain.

The independent developer told Cointelegraph that he chose Cardano not only because he is already invested in the network, both financially and emotionally, but because he sees it as the most enterprise-ready blockchain that can scale appropriately, adding:

Shopify shedding nearly two-thirds of its Waterloo office space | NewHamburgIndependent.ca

WATERLOO — E-commerce giant Shopify is downsizing its physical presence in Waterloo, subleasing more than 60,000 square feet of office space as the company transitions to a “digital by default” model.

All of Shopify’s space at 85 Willis Way, a building it expanded into in 2018, is available for sublease. A marketing brochure from realtor Cushman & Wakefield describes the two upper office floors as a “completely ‘turnkey’ sublease opportunity.” Including a fully equipped industrial kitchen, the space totals 62,851 square feet. The three-storey building has separate ground-floor retail space.
