Get Out The Vote TikTok Ad Campaign Exceeds 93% Completion Rate

But one get-out-the-vote campaign with its sights on prospective voters took a nontraditional tact on TikTok to achieve a 93% completion rate.

Lee Hirsch, Creative Director of Local Voices, said he imagined the style of the vertical first-person ads from seeing ads in online games that he played. The ads feature TikTok creators like @matthew.goldstein and @lydiaontheleft.

The “ Born in the U.S.A. ” singer, who has been an outspoken critic of President Trump's in the past, not only narrates the brief spot but he also apparently gave permission for the track “My Hometown” to play along with the ad.

He concludes the narration by reminding the viewer that Biden aims to keep the people of his hometown in mind in the hopes they'll vote for him in the very important swing state.

Bruce Springsteen Lends His Voice to Joe Biden's 'Hometown' Campaign Ad: Watch |

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has enlisted Bruce Springsteen to narrate a new campaign advertisement about the former vice president's "hometown" of Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Springsteen's Born in the U.S.A. track "My Hometown" also appears in the minute-long ad, which premiered Friday (Oct. 30) on YouTube and will air during Saturday night's broadcast of the college football game between Penn State and Ohio State.

In mid-August, Springsteen's song "The Rising" was used during the first night of the 2020 Democratic National Convention. The 2002 track soundtracked a segment of the program that was dubbed "Rise Up," effectively creating a music video for the song.

Facebook charged Biden a higher price than Trump for campaign ads

When President Donald Trump wanted to reach out to older Arizona voters in August with the message " The RADICAL Left has taken over Joe Biden and the Democratic Party ," with photos of Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Ilhan Omar, Facebook charged his campaign an estimated $14 for each 1,000 times the advertisement appeared in people's feeds.

That price difference wasn't an anomaly. The Markup analyzed every known Trump and Biden ad purchased between July 1, 2020, and Oct. 13, 2020, and found that Facebook has charged the presidential nominees wildly varying prices for their ads, with Biden paying, on average, nearly $2.50 more per 1,000 impressions than Trump.

Illinois is taking a data-driven approach to its mask-wearing ad campaign – TechCrunch

Here's an example of ad targeting that's actually good for public health: In a campaign encouraging people to wear masks, the Illinois state government has been focusing its digital ad dollars on the counties with the highest COVID risk.

To achieve this, the government's been working with Civis Analytics , the data science company founded by Dan Wagner , who was previously chief analytics officer for Barack Obama's 2012 reelection campaign. The campaign kicked off in August, but the state is now sharing more details about its work , including a map that shows the week-by-week risk assessment that it used for targeting.

White House officials considered Elon Musk for coronavirus ad campaign - The Verge

Elon Musk was among the celebrities that Trump administration officials tried to woo for a "Helping the President will Help the Country" taxpayer-funded ad blitz that never got off the ground, according to documents released by the House Oversight Committee .

Only ten of the celebrities received final approval by the administration, and all have since backed out of the campaign, according to a news release from House Oversight and Reform Committee chairwoman Carolyn B. Maloney (D-NY).
