There was a story buried in the New York Times earlier this week that spoke volumes about just how badly we've muffed this coronavirus pandemic.

Alarmed that during its last days in power the Trump administration is not leading the charge to convince skeptical Americans to get the coronavirus vaccines as soon as they become widely available, the private and nonprofit Ad Council has a plan to spend $50 million on a campaign to persuade Americans to get their shots.

Bruce Springsteen , Jon Bon Jovi and Jon Stewart have a message for New Jersey: “Wear a friggin’ mask!”

The admonition is part of the #MaskUpNJ ad campaign, sponsored by the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund.to encourage Garden State residents to wear masks during the pandemic.

In a just-released ad, the three celebrities are depicted standing in front a barn door wearing masks. The billboard is located on the New Jersey Turnpike and was tweeted out on Wednesday by New Jersey First Lady Tammy Murphy.

Lamborghini Pulls Controversial Ad Campaign With Teens Posing in Front of Luxury Sports Cars

Lamborghini, the luxurious car brand, was forced to withdraw an ad campaign in which young teenagers appeared in front of their opulent cars after a debate and a protest on the part of the mayor of Palermo.

All of the above was due to the fact that a score of photographers had been hired to capture images with supercars throughout Italy, described as a "declaration of love" to the country. Letizia Battaglia, a famous photographer, was a participant in the project, recognized for portraying the Sicilian mafia.

Campaign Positions ESPN App For Surges in Mobile Use, Advertising 11/24/2020

With mobile app usage rising rapidly since the pandemic and ad spend following, a new campaign aims to position ESPN’s app — the world’s No. 1 sports app — to maximize its momentum in 2021 and beyond.

The campaign, “One App, One Tap,” debuted Sunday night during ABC’s airing of the 2020 American Music Awards.
