Florida Chamber ad campaign pitches the Sunshine State to business

After a pandemic-induced slumber, CEOs and business owners across the country are weighing their options for a change of scenery.

On Tuesday, the Florida Chamber of Commerce unveiled an ad campaign aimed at getting them to ditch the chilly business meccas of yesteryear and set up shop in the Sunshine State.

The " Open for Business " campaign heralds Florida as a top-tier choice for businesses, whether they're looking to move their HQ or expand their operations into a new market.

Brad Parscale Fell From Trump's Favor. Now He's Plotting a Comeback. - The New York Times

Mr. Parscale, President Trump's former campaign manager, said he was trying to move on from that bleak Sunday in late September when he made the national newscasts, after police were called to his home in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. His wife told officers he was inside the house, ranting, acting erratically, with a loaded and cocked gun.

Now he is turning to real estate and plans to buy houses and flip them, he said in an interview this month, something he said he was good at. He is also restarting his political consulting firm, Parscale Strategy , and trying to kick off a start-up called Nucleus , to process and analyze data for conservative politicians.

'Pure Michigan' Ad Campaign Is Back To Promote Winter Activity

Remember how a couple of years ago, we were all bemoaning the news that the Pure Michigan ad campaign was, in all likelihood, a budget casualty? Well, the state has brought back the Pure Michigan ad slogan, albeit with a fresh coat of pain. The new ads promote winter activities in the state.

* * *

The most noticeable difference in the first ad is: there's no Tim Allen. But never fear, he's back for the second of two ads that began appearing on local TV stations and other platforms today.

Ad Spending Soars in Georgia Races With Stakes Far Beyond Georgia - The New York Times

The message from President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr. that streamed across television screens in Georgia on Friday was simple, direct and dire: "Let me be clear: I need Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff in the United States Senate."

The ad wars in Georgia's two Senate races, which have soared past the $450 million mark and saturated the airwaves at previously unheard-of levels, reflect the stakes of one of the most unusual special elections in American history — the opportunity to vote for control of the Senate through two statewide races, held at the same time, with a new administration's agenda hanging in the balance.

Election integrity ad campaign urges conservatives to accept 2020 results - ABC News

The group has been airing 30-second advertisements on Fox News that prominently feature the words of Trump's own Attorney General Bill Barr assuring that the election was clean -- even as some of the network's hosts continue to sow doubts about the election results.

Behind the ad campaign is the Progressive State Leaders Committee, an organization run by several Democratic-aligned figures, including Sean Rankin, the executive director of the Democratic Attorneys General Association. As a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization, the committee is not required to disclosed itemized donors and expenditures, but disclosure reports from the Democratic Attorneys General Association show that the committee has given more than $833,000 to the association this year.
