Yorkville may sell former bank building, property in Kendall Marketplace - Chicago Tribune
The Yorkville City Council at 7 p.m. Tuesday will discuss selling the former Old Second Bank building at 102 E. Van Emmon St. and an 8-acre parcel in Kendall Marketplace west of Beecher Road.

The city recently purchased a commercial site at 651 Prairie Pointe that has changed the need for those properties. The plan is to move City Hall to a three-level building on the property.
"Since (the original purchases), the city has explored various uses of the site as either a municipal building (public works facility) or private development. With the future location of the city's municipal campus now decided, both properties can be explored as a future site for private development," City Administrator Bart Olson said in a report to aldermen.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - It will soon be one-stop shopping and selling for Bridgewater Township officials, as far as working with other municipalities is concerned.
According to the county website, the Somerset County Shared Services Marketplace is an "innovative online shared services trading post being launched this month, where the county and towns can offer to share, for a fee, excess resources to other communities to reduce the costs of purchasing new equipment and operating local governments."
