A Florida woman is in custody after she ran into a 57-year-old sheriff who was out on a bike ride. He was riding around his neighborhood about 4 pm when a car struck him from behind and took off, leaving him lying on the ground. The mirror of the car impaled his back.
The 20-year-old woman didn’t stop to check on the man, she just continued down the road. Thankfully, a truck driver saw what happened and immediately pulled over to check on the sheriff.
