Iconic Oberto storefront on Rainier Avenue to close after 68 years | king5.com

SEATTLE — After more than 65 years in central Seattle, Oberto's iconic storefront will close Sunday to make way for construction on a new school.

The specialty meat business' building at 1715 Rainier Avenue South has been around since 1953. It was Oberto's headquarters and production plant until 1978 when it became a storefront for the company's meat snacks.

Now, The Hamlin Robinson School, which moved next door to Oberto in 2015, will construct a new middle school and expanded learning center on the site of the Oberto store. The school primarily serves children with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences.

Artists turn Fourth Street storefront into aquarium of recycled goods – Loveland

Diverse sea creatures swim amid the colorful coral. A school of shimmering silver fish delights within a kelp forest. An octopus looms large, not far from a clam with vibrant blue lips.

What looks like a peacock mantis shrimp at first glance is actually ear buds, water bottles and zip ties.

Loveland artists Heather Fortin Rubald and Kathryn Vinson, with help from community members who donated their recyclables, have created an underwater world out of post-consumer waste in an empty storefront on West Fourth Street.

Apple officially pulls iMac Pro from its online storefront | AppleInsider

Apple has pulled the iMac Pro from its website, officially discontinuing the model and making it unavailable for purchase.

The company announced plans to discontinue the model in early March . The iMac Pro was still available from Apple's website, though only "while supplies last."

After remaining models dried up on Friday, Apple pulled the iMac Pro page entirely. The model doesn't appear in the Apple Store app or in search results, and there is no longer an option to purchase the device from Apple's online storefront in the U.S. or elsewhere. Apple also changed references to iMac Pro models from "2017 and later" to "2017," indicating no new models will be produced.
