A few months later in the spring of 2006, Drye and Alcorn opened Caniche at 200 S. Main St. in downtown Salisbury. Caniche, which means "poodle" in French, has been selling apparel, jewelry and fine gifts ever since and will celebrate its 15-year anniversary on March 27.
"I didn't think that far out. We just took it year-to-year, some years we took it day-by-day, month-by-month," Drye said. "I've always wanted to do it and I've always loved it, so I was hoping it'd be here for 15, 20, 25 years."

14-year old Luis Junior Leal arrived at La Palmera mall Saturday morning to a crowd of supporters that included the Ingleside High School cheerleaders.
Junior has been fighting a form of sarcoma for several years now and received his last chemotherapy treatment on Friday.
To celebrate, he went on a shopping spree that took him all over the mall including game stop and foot action.
Dave and Busters treated junior and his family to lunch. The mall also donated some photos with the Easter bunny. We here at 3News are wishing you all the best as you move forward.
“Off-Broadway Market” offers Easter shopping to Northtowns | News 4 Buffalo
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Vendors who usually spend the Easter season at the Broadway Market were unable to set up this year, due to COVID-19 restrictions. The Eastern Hills Mall decided to give them a hand, and the space to sell their homemade goods. Vendors say getting here hasn’t been an easy journey.
“It’s market season, it’s Easter season. Our demand is going up but we can only have so many people at a time producing product,” explained Tori Ferraina of the Blue Eyed Baker.

AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB)– A 3-year-old dog named Jackson is looking for his forever home and spent the day at the Totally Buffalo store trying to get adopted.
Totally Buffalo and Sweet Buffalo teamed up to make the boxers’ day special. He met with visitors, enjoyed smelling the popcorn and wore a special bandana that said “You Should Totally Adopt Me!”
We’re told Jackson was a perfect gentleman according to Totally Buffalo Store Owner Mary Friona.
