Michael Patrick, the owner of Rizzo's said there is a lot of competition in the job market so, he's offering higher pay for his employees.
"We are paying a little more an hour than we normally would but at the end of the day if it's worth it, it's worth it and right now, it's worth it," said Patrick.

The Kroger Co. is offering customers a way to recycle flexible plastic packaging in what the grocer says is the first program of its kind. The "Kroger Our Brands Recycling Program," developed in partnership with TerraCycle, encourages customers to mail in flexible plastic Kroger-brands packaging. Once received, the collected packaging will be cleaned and melted into hard plastic that can be remolded to make new recycled products, the company says.

City Utilities launches app for customers
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Springfield City Utilities launched a new app for customers to better manage their accounts.
He said the idea came about after customers showed a desire to have more information about their utilities in the palm of their hands.
“More and more customers have mentioned that it’d be nice to be able to do more with us like they can in other areas, be able to be in that more digital experience like all of us get to with our local banks or with Walmart or Amazon,” said Baker. “We needed to provide that digital experience for things like paying your bill and managing outages and being aware of what’s going on in our community.”

Connecticut authorities are warning utility customers to be on the lookout for scammers posing as representatives for various utility companies and demanding payment through pre-paid gift cards.
In a tweet , the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority said the agency “is aware of incidents where scammers are posing as utilities asking customers to pay utility bills via an app, gift card or pre-paid credit card.”
