The Minnesota Museum of American Art, the M in downtown St. Paul, announced last week it will continue to display exhibits in its storefront windows at Fourth and Robert streets. The indoor space will remain closed.
The window galleries were introduced as a way to continue exhibitions when the COVID-19 pandemic shut down public spaces. The M initially had plans to reopen the museum galleries in June. Now the M plans to continue to exhibit work in its window galleries, the skyway, virtually and at partner locations while it starts work on the final phase of the M’s building, according to a news release.
2-story in Belmont district includes storefront
Several options are available within this two-story house that has an attached storefront along the Belmont business district.
Casual access to the house is from the back yard into an enclosed porch. Louver windows with screens allow for four-season use. Wood-laminate flooring fills the porch and continues throughout the main level of the house.
Just off the porch is the kitchen with a window above the double sink and two walls of cabinetry and countertops. There is an appliance nook for the refrigerator and extra counter space near the range.

Springfield High School junior Brooklynn Troemper first got a look at her artwork in the storefront of the Booth Building when she was driving down East Monroe Street last week with her father, Brett.
Saturday, Troemper and her mother, April Troemper, a Seventh Circuit Court trial judge, had time to slow down and take in seven digital art pieces, all done by SHS art students, on Monroe between Third and Sixth streets.
Floor & Decor Store Proposed for Former Walmart Site - Loudoun Now
A Floor & Decor store has been proposed for the 97,000-square-foot storefront off Edwards Ferry Road and Rt. 15.
The applicant, Floor and Decor Outlets America, Inc., has filed a rezoning/concept plan and proffer amendment to amend the existing proffers of the former Walmart site. The 11.5-acre parcel is zoned B-3, but administered as old B-2, based on proffers, according to information provided on the town website.
According to the statement of justification submitted by the applicant, Floor & Decor intends to utilize the existing building on the property to house an internal sales area, internal warehouse space, and internal office area. There will be no outside storage associated with the proposed store. Floor and Decor has committed to improving landscaping on the property, as well as constructing a new board-on-board fence to the east of the building to provide screening of the site.

Goodies is remodeling the historic Ice House on Commerce Street and hopes to open by Memorial Day weekend. It will be Goodies' first storefront.

We spoke with founder Benjamin Robinson about how Robinson's Popcorn started three years ago.
"In July 2018 we started selling t-shirts, me and my family, that said 'I supported Robinson's Popcorn before they were PoPpin' and raised over $10,000 in three and a half months," explained Benjamin. With that money, they were able to renovate their storefront in Rogers Plaza.

Lucky for Lukas, Scott Frank did say yes and they pulled off the shoot in one day at a soundstage in Williamsburg. The music video, which debuted today, finds Lukas playing five versions of himself, all riding in the same car. There’s the formal one, decked out in a suit and tie; an exhausted one curled up with a pillow; a hip version with tinted shades, cell phone and hoodie; an over-it driver; and a melancholic passenger in the middle seat in back.
On a joint Zoom call — Lukas connected from Los Angeles while his father joined from New York — the two discussed their creative process, the story behind Lukas’ one-word cameo and musical contribution to his dad’s The Queen’s Gambit , possible tour plans and follow-up projects and how Lukas’ recovery has impacted his music. Complaints about the latest expansion for Elite: Dangerous, Odyssey, has seen the game's aggregate review score on Steam plummet to "mostly negative".
Of the 3000+ reviews currently on the storefront, two-thirds are marked as negative, with new reviews being added all the time despite the stability patch developer Frontier pushed out on Friday.
The new expansion released on May 19, but since then players have been leaving complaints about crashes, bugs, and frame rate, plus performance and stability problems on the game's Steam page (thanks, NME ).
