Accoutre, a specialty cookware shop which first opened in 2017, signed a lease last month to take over 1312 Bainbridge St. in Manchester. The store plans to open in July.

Happy Jewelers: A Family Jewelry Storefront Making Big Waves - Daily Front Row

Once Gabe finished high school, he attended his first college class at California State University, Fullerton, but walked out within 20 minutes. He went home and told his parents that school was not for him, as he wanted to open up his own jewelry store. So, in the year 2000, when Gabe was just 18 years old, he opened up Happy Jewelers in a small booth inside a jewelry mart in Fullerton, CA. It has grown exponentially since then.

"We own our own manufacturing facility in Downtown Los Angeles, so we control the quality, timing, and pricing," Gabe Arik shares. "We don't go through a third party to have our pieces made. All of our pieces are made by our team only." This high level of control for a family-owned business is seemingly unheard of, no matter the industry.
