After years of steady customer growth and community expansion, President of Sea Salt and Cinnamon Amanda Reninger is ready to take the next step — a storefront in downtown Muncie.
Currently, she has a Kickstarter and is trying to raise $30,000 which she will use for equipment, renovations and other miscellaneous items. Reninger hopes to officially open the storefront in mid-September this year.

CHICAGO (CBS) — Over several days beginning one year ago Saturday, Chicago saw unrest unlike anything we had seen in decades.
Unrest and looting was first seen downtown on the night of Friday, March 29, 2020, and it grew far more severe in the downtown area the following day – as police cars and other vehicles were set on fire, stores were looted throughout the downtown area, and at least two downtown businesses were also set on fire.

The Beautiful Stuff Project relocated to Magoun Square, where their storefront is currently based.
Seevak instituted something known as the "Treasure Box Curriculum" in Somerville public schools, bringing recycled materials to classrooms and encouraging children to explore, experiment, and discover. She also began a professional development program that teachers have taken advantage of, learning about the Treasure Box Curriculum and how to incorporate The Beautiful Stuff Project's philosophy into their programs.

The Downtown Scottsbluff Association developed the idea for a summer market on the third Saturday in June, July and August after seeing the success of Bayard's Heirloom Market.
