"At the start of quarantine, I decided to list some of my art and old clothes because I heard about some apps after I had lost my job of babysitting," Johnson said.
"It was kind of the combination of people looking more towards small business and more towards Poshmark and Depop to buy stuff from people during the pandemic," said Lisa Johnson, Ella's mom.
However, Johnson decided to join the efforts of local homeless advocates and in December, she started using a portion of the money she made through the online sales to pay for meals.

"We really wanted to bring a store to people that, you know, they weren't paying an arm and leg, but they still could get a good night's sleep," Clark said.

JOPLIN, Mo. — People were able to stop by a local Southwest Missouri fish store Sunday and purchase from local coral growers.
Scales N Tails on 110 North Rangeline held a Swap Meet event this weekend where people could come in and buy both fresh and salt water fish as well as corals made by people from the Four States.
With over 70 people coming through the storefront, Scales N Tails Co-Owner, Derick Harper, says, he put this event together to get more people interested in building their own coral reef.
