Santa Fe Irrigation to offer reduced water rate for agriculture customers - Del Mar Times

On June 17, the Santa Fe Irrigation District board approved the adoption of a program that will benefit the district's agricultural water users.

SFID will now allow eligible customers to participate in the San Diego County Water Authority's Permanent Special Agricultural Water Rate (PSAWR), a program that SFID Director Sandra Johnson said recognizes the value of agriculture by reducing water rates for growers.

More than 2,000 DTE Energy customers without power after storm, high winds

Update (3 p.m.): Power has been restored to the majority customers affected by the initial outage, according to DTE Energy's outage map.

DTE's outage map shows the bulk of the outages near Brighton and Marion townships occurred between 10:30 p.m. Sunday and 4:30 a.m. Monday.
