It's been years in the making, but a local veteran is finally celebrating the official opening of his business.
Jason Ambrosino started Veterans Hemp Market in 2018. He says he was inspired after switching from prescribed medication to CBD products to treat pain.
Knowing it helped him, he wanted to share what he learned with other veterans and members of the community.
Veterans Hemp Market is sold in other shops throughout the area, but the store in Broadalbin allows him to interact with and educate customers.

Amazon confirms it removed RavPower, a popular phone battery and charger brand - The Verge
One month ago, Amazon-first gadget brands Aukey and Mpow suddenly and mysteriously disappeared from the giant online retailer's storefront, with almost all their electronics vanishing from Amazon's shelves. Today, popular battery and charger brand RavPower has completely disappeared as well — and Amazon now confirms to The Verge that it was the one that removed RavPower from its store, and that it removed Aukey and Mpow previously.
Following my fake review story, listings for Amazon-native electronics brand RAVPower are gone.
The company offered $35 gift cards for reviews on a product that was sold directly by Amazon itself. RAVPower acted as a wholesale vendor on that listing. https://t.co/6nazZZ5Wtb pic.twitter.com/znp9u48YHV

In a tough year and a half for many industries, including retail, it’s not all bad news for Columbus shops and boutiques. Local favorites are relocating, and a few shops that are “closing” would more accurately be described as downsizing. Plus, a flea and summer market frequenter arrives soon to Clintonville. Check out the latest in retail news:
Short North home furnishings and inclusive femme apparel shop Happy Go Lucky has opened in the former home of Tigertree at 787 N. High St., just a few blocks south of its old location, where it spent seven years with sister store Happy Go Lucky Her at 962 and 964 N. High St. (Meanwhile, Tigertree relocated to 3284 N. High St. in Clintonville, opening in May.)

The South America-inspired shop will join a sake bar, a brewery, and more at the forthcoming Speedway marketplace later this year
The team behind Buenas , the empanadas-and-more shop at Somerville's Bow Market , is expanding to another outdoor marketplace this summer, opening a wine bar and grocery shop (a "grocerybar," says owner Melissa Stefanini) called Super Bien at the forthcoming Speedway in Brighton. It will feature South American wines and dishes made with Buenas's own products, which are South America-inspired (and go beyond the empanadas for which the shop is best known).
