Henry's Uptown Cafe has been closed for more than a year, but should be opening back within the next few weeks — with a new look and a new menu.
Restaurant owner Henry Antos closed the door to his establishment on March 17, 2020 when Gov. Roy Cooper ordered all restaurants to shut down in response to the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.
When Cooper eased restrictions to allow limited capacity, Henry's remained closed because the small size of the dining room and lack of outdoor seating wouldn't allow for a profitable amount of patrons.

ABUJA (Reuters) – MTN Nigeria said on Wednesday it notified some enterprise customers about a potential service disruption to enable them put in place business continuity measures.
The local unit of South Africa's telcoms firm MTN runs Nigeria's largest mobile phone network which generates around a third of the company's revenue.
The action was "a routine notification to a small group of businesses affected by a specific challenge in very few specific locations," MTN said.
Albertsons CEO: Customers have handled higher inflation so far
Albertsons CEO Vivek Sankaran told CNBC on Wednesday that the U.S. consumer has, so far, been able to handle rising inflation.
"The inflation is higher. It is, let's say, between 3% and 4% if you just do the math on different months and normalize for it," Sankaran said in an interview with Jim Cramer on "Mad Money." "It used to be typically 1.5%, so it's a little bit higher."
"That said, it's happening in an environment where the consumer is really strong. We haven't seen the consumer affected yet by that level of inflation," said Sankaran.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WDAF) — Evergy said it's taking steps Wednesday to prepare for even hotter temperatures Thursday and Friday.
The company warned customers that it will likely take control and turn up thermostats for homes and businesses that have given them permission to do so. Evergy anticipates it will begin on Thursday.
The warning applies to customers who are enrolled in the company's Residential Thermostat program. By enrolling, customers get perks in return for giving Evergy permission to turn up the thermostat several degrees on days with high energy usage.

"We've been really pleased with what we've seen in Phoenix and New England where we've tested it," he said, with the tests aimed at making sure the program worked without slowing down drive-through operations.
He said McDonald's expects to have rolled out the program in its six biggest markets - including the U.S., Canada and possibly Germany - by the end of 2022.

"We are thrilled to be doing this and be the pilot operation for the central territory," Jacqulynn Idzior, with the Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Center, said. "As you said, this is in addition to the 31 stores that we have."
In addition to the Salvation Army's stores, customers can now shop online. It's an option that's been two to three years in the making and is useful now more than ever. The items you'll see for sale online are a mix of things you'd find at their physical stores.
