Dresden deli hopes to fill shopping needs and bellies

DRESDEN — Dixie and Damon Gibson opened D&D's Deli in Dresden on June 1, hoping to help fill a void in the village that has lingered since the Dresden IGA burn down in 2009.

The deli makes subs and salads, but also a newly arrived meat case will offer a variety of local meats, something not available in the village for years. The store, on the corner of Main and West High streets, also features a growing grocery selection, with more added every week, Damon said.
