Salem - Beatrice T. (Beaulieu) McInnis, of Salem, NH, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on August 24, 2021, at the age of 94. Born on December 27, 1926, in Cambridge, MA, to the late Leon and Albertine (Roy) Beaulieu. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Pity in Cambridge.

Stow expecting new T.J. Maxx

All signs point to a T.J. Maxx moving into the former Bed Bath & Beyond in the Stow Community Shopping Center on Kent Road, even though the corporate office has declined to comment on a potential new store.

The space, which has been vacant since February, currently has a building permit posted in its window that identifies "T.J. Maxx / Site Centers" as the owners.

Sausalito may have Marin's first retail cannabis shop if voters approve a ballot issue set for November 2022. Its politically savvy owner's strategy may be a template for other ambitious marijuana purveyors all over the county.

The business owner with the skills is Conor Johnston, formerly chief of staff to then-San Francisco Board of Supervisors president and now mayor, London Breed. Johnston is also co-owner of Berner's on Haight, a cannabis dispensary in the City's Haight-Ashbury neighborhood.

Scarborough approves marijuana ordinance amendments - Portland Press Herald

SCARBOROUGH — The Town Council approved amendments to the Scarborough Marijuana Establishment Ordinance on Aug. 18 that will incorporate odor mitigation requirements and a change in the licensing renewal process.

The amendments will affect medical and adult-use marijuana cultivation, manufacturing or testing establishments, as Scarborough does not permit storefront or retail licenses for marijuana businesses.

Teerman's entering final days of business in downtown Holland

HOLLAND — A long-beloved store in downtown Holland will close its doors for good in the coming days.

"We have almost nothing left," said owner Jeff Teerman. "We'll close the housewares department Friday or Saturday, and we'll have the clock and patio department open for maybe a couple of days beyond that."
