Customers Will Pay More For This

Fifty-two percent said, "Yes!" If that's not motivation to deliver better customer service and a better CX, then I'm not sure what is. But, I know some of you may be asking, "How much more?"

So, customer service counts in a big way when it comes to price. And, when that service incorporates a level of convenience, the payoff is even greater. When we asked our consumers if they would be willing to pay more for convenience, the number increased to 70%.

Cleco: Approximately 9,700 customers without power because of Hurricane Ida

PINEVILLE, La. – (8 p.m.) Over 90,000 Cleco customers were without power as of 8 p.m. due to Hurricane Ida which made landfall in southeast Louisiana earlier today as a Category 4 Hurricane. 

"Ida is forecasted to move farther inland tonight and into Monday.

More than 10,000 NYSEG customers without power as of 9 P.M.

JOHNSON CITY (WBNG) -- The NYSEG outage map is reporting the majority of power outages in the areas affected at around 9 P.M. this evening have been restored.

JOHNSON CITY (WBNG) -- According to the NYSEG Power Outage Map 10,766 customers in Johnson City are currently without power.

UPDATED: More than 6,500 St. Mary customers without power | St. Mary Now

The Patterson city government posted this photo of a tree fallen across power lines on Willow Bend Drive.

Hurricane Ida had knocked out power to more than 972,000 Louisiana customers by 9:50 p.m. Sunday, according to the poweroutage.us.

Aussie Broadband ends bumper year with total customers up 53% | ZDNet

Aussie Broadband has capped off a bumper year, with the telco saying it now has 401,000 customers in total, up 53%, consisting of 363,000 residential lines, an increase of 50%, and business and wholesale jumping 90% to 37,500.

The end result is the telco reporting revenue up 84% to AU$350 million, and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) prior to AU$1.5 million in IPO expenses growing five-fold to AU$19 million.

Brands are letting customers contribute to and decide on charitable giving – Glossy

Many retailers and brands, such as Sephora and Crabtree & Evelyn , now allow customers to turn their rewards points into donations, donate their own rounded-up change and even choose which charity the company donates to on their behalf.

Meanwhile, on KoraOrganics.com, a customer has the option during checkout to donate $1, $5 or $10 of their own money to Organic Farming Research Foundation. On RareBeauty.com, since Nov. 2020, customers have been able to round up their spend to the next dollar (or donate more) during checkout.

S&WB experiencing power outages, asks customers to limit wastewater

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A number of the New Orleans Sewerage & Water Board sewage pump stations on both the east and West Bank of New Orleans are experiencing power outages.

"This increases the potential for sewer backups in homes. We urge those residents who still have power to minimize wastewater leaving their homes by not running your dishwasher or washing clothes," the S&WB said.
