Bagel Street Deli on Court Street in Uptown Athens — a longtime favorite for students and residents alike — recently opened a newly expanded and renovated storefront.

The deli used to be little more than a thin hallway that was often packed on weekends before the pandemic, but the bagel shop has expanded into the former Mountain Laurel Gift Shop storefront, adding new dining and kitchen space.

Protect Your Digital Storefront from Automated Bot Attacks this Holiday Shopping Season -

Online traffic and revenue have reached new heights with many retailers seeing daily peaks throughout the year that surpassed previous Cyber Five levels. With those traffic spikes come more automated cyber attacks.

Retailers need to be prepared for large volumes of online shopping, possibly starting earlier than the classic Thanksgiving timing of recent years.

Rat-infested encampment turns Tribeca block into a nightmare

A troubled vagrant has turned a Tribeca block into a revolting, rat-infested encampment that’s been a years-long headache to locals — who claim the city has done nothing about it.

“He’s been there for so long, and he pisses and s—ts,” said Shain Gallagher, who manages the Dark Horse bar across the street.

How Brooklyn's Dog Day Afternoon Serves an Authentic Chicago-Style Hot Dog - Eater NY

When a small storefront called Dog Day Afternoon materialized in Windsor Terrace not far from Prospect Park in early August, I was there in a flash.

Few American regional specialties have a recipe as exacting as that of the Chicago dog. It starts with an all-beef frank of the type first served at Chicago's World's Columbian Exposition in 1893, perhaps a little grainier and more red than our own natural-skinned franks.

Council eyes streamlining dispensary process

The Sonoma City Council on Wednesday will review new guidelines to the City's commercial cannabis ordinance to streamline the process for allowing a second storefront cannabis business to operate in the city limits.

In April, the council approved an amendment to the ordinance to pave the way for a second walk-in cannabis store. At the same time, council members asked city staff to find ways to shorten the evaluation and selection process in awarding a conditional certificate to operate a cannabis business.
