OpenSea, amid insider trading controversy, rolls out NFT app

The largest NFT marketplace, OpenSea, is launching an app for users in the Google Play and Apple App Store on this week.

The app rollout comes after a wildly busy month for the platform: in August, OpenSea's website saw two million transactions, totaling $3.4 billion in trading volume and tripling activity from July.

The number of Americans seeking unemployment benefits moved up last week to 332,000 from 312,000 the week prior, which was a pandemic low.

The Biden administration's special six-month enrollment period gave San Diego attorney Erin Benler-Ward time to find a plan for her 22-month-old son. He was covered through her work, but the premiums were $300 a month. So she shopped California's marketplace for plans.

Giant Kroger Marketplace might be back on track in West Chester Twp.

A deal with Kroger to build a giant Marketplace store that appeared to die last year may be back on, which could dash the hopes of a group of seniors who want dedicated space for them to gather.

West Chester Twp. was all set to sell the former Activity Center for $1.8 million to Regency Centers, which is Kroger's landlord at the corner of Tylersville and Cox roads, a year ago.
