BikeWalk Williamsburg Opens Storefront for Donated Bicycle Refurbishing Project in

WILLIAMSBURG — The Bicycle Co-Op of Williamsburg, a project of BikeWalk Williamsburg , has a new storefront to where donated bicycles can be refurbished and distributed.

The Bicycle Co-Op Project sees volunteers refurbish and repurpose old bikes to make them rideable and sell them to individuals based on their ability to pay.

Westerville's Little Ladies Soft Serve opens in Westar Shopping Center

Specializing in soft-serve sundaes with a variety of homemade toppings, the business started with a soft-serve truck in June 2018, with its first storefront opening Nov. 19.

Columbia 15-year-old celebrates her business's grand opening

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Saturday, Confidence by Gabby Goodwin opened its doors to the Midlands community. Confidence sells haircare items, has a salon for young women, and even has a mentorship program to teach young girls how to be entrepreneurs.

It's all the vision of Gabby Goodwin, a 15-year-old freshman at Spring Hill High School. She's been a business owner since she was seven years old when she and her mom, Rozalynn, founded a company selling the first and patented double-face double snap barrette.

Central Florida rental assistance funds at risk of being taken away

ORLANDO, Fla. – Four Central Florida counties and the State of Florida are at risk of losing their remaining emergency rental assistance funds, which could amount to millions of dollars not going to help local families who need it.

According to the U.S. Department of the Treasury, states, counties and cities that received funding for the first round of its Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERA1) must have spent at least 65% of their funding by Sept.
