Marketplace Mall in Henrietta NY reopens after multi-day power outage

UPDATE (Jan. 26, 2022): Marketplace Mall reopened at 10 a.m. Wednesday after power was restored to the the property on Hylan Drive in Henrietta. Power was initially lost Sunday, forcing the temporary shutdown. Mall owner Wilmorite announced Wednesday's reopening on its social media accounts.

Local mom advocates for safe exchange zones after Facebook Marketplace exchange goes wrong | 8News

Police say on January 21st, officers were called to Mansion Avenue where they learned of a robbery. Officers report a family had been robbed after trying to buy an iPhone 11 listed on Facebook Marketplace. The armed man stole their phone and cash, and no one was injured.

Police say 25-year-old Ricky Coleman has been charged with robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.
