NFT Marketplace Wars Heat Up As Blur’s Airdrop Drives It To The Top Spot

On February 14th, NFT trading platform and aggregator Blur rewarded its users with its highly anticipated token airdrop.

The airdrop released 360 million tokens, comprising about 12% of the total supply of the project. At its current price, Blur has a market capitalization of $414 million and a fully diluted market capitalization of $3.2 billion.

Weekly NFT sales surge amid marketplace Blur's new round of token airdrop

Global non-fungible token (NFT) sales surged by 159% over the seven days from Feb. 17 to Feb. 23, with rising NFT marketplace Blur's rewards appearing to continue driving most of the action across the sector.

Total weekly NFT sales increased to US$772 million in the seven days from US$299 million in the previous week, according to data from NFT aggregation site CryptoSlam.

Cross Keys gets marketplace liquor license that will allow shoppers to sip cocktails while ...

City liquor board commissioners on Thursday approved a marketplace license for the development, which is in the midst of a $27 million renovation slated to bring new restaurants, new shops and an upscale, 350-unit apartment building .

The marketplace license, similar to those awarded to markets and food halls like Whitehall Market and Cross Street Market, will allow for one liquor license to cover the entirety of the Village of Cross Keys retail area, Caroline Hecker, an attorney for the project, told commissioners.
