AMY KENNEDY FOR CONGRESS RELEASES GAME OF THRONES THEMED DIGITAL AD CAMPAIGN - Insider NJ

Brigantine, NJ – Today, Amy Kennedy's campaign released a digital ad asking voters to stop party boss George Norcross from playing games with elections in South Jersey. The ads depict Brigid Harrison and Jeff Van Drew as characters in the Game of Thrones with George Norcross sitting on the Iron Throne.

"George Norcross is twisting arms and rigging the primary with back room deals for Brigid Harrison, the same way he did for Jeff Van Drew. And we know how well that turned out. Norcross rigged this election last time for Jeff Van Drew, who turned out to be a Republican. Now, he is trying to do the same thing with Brigid Harrison, who supported Chris Christie for President instead of Barack Obama and might also be a Republican in Democratic clothing.

Facebook removes Trump campaign ads over census confusion - POLITICO

"There are policies in place to prevent confusion around the official U.S. Census and this is an example of those being enforced," Facebook said in a statement. | Alexander Koerner/Getty Images

Facebook said it will remove ads from President Donald Trump that invoked the U.S. Census when directing people to his reelection campaign's website, saying they violated policies against causing confusion about the nationwide count.

It was a rare action by Facebook to take down content posted by Trump, who has used the giant social media platform as a major element of both his presidential campaigns.

NRL 2020: South Sydney Rabbitohs, Cameron Murray, Latrell Mitchell, ad campaign, Simply The Best

Some have praised it while it's been slammed by others claiming it's focused too much on being politically correct.

However, South Sydney's superstar back-rower Cameron Murray thinks the campaign is "great" — particularly the scene that stars his teammate Latrell Mitchell draped in an Aboriginal flag.

"I thought it was great to bring back the 'Simply The Best' campaign. Obviously (Latrell) is a very proud Aboriginal man, he's a great leader for his community, so I thought it was a great ad all round," Murray said at the NRL season launch on Thursday.

What brands are doing for International Women's Day 2020

International Women's Day is a chance for brands to show what they're doing to promote equality — and arguably raise their profiles and sell more too.

CNBC takes a look at what some businesses are doing to mark the occasion Sunday, from Betty Crocker's response to an eight year-old boy who realized its cake instructions were aimed at women, to Absolut's campaign around sexual consent.

"We teach girls to shrink themselves, to make themselves smaller. We say to girls, you can have ambition, but not too much," goes the soundtrack to Apple 's "Behind the Mac" ad on YouTube, released Tuesday.

On International Women's Day, FIFA continues to be tone deaf about issues of equality - All For XI

FIFA finally did it – on International Women's Day 2020 they decided to make things equal between women and men. Not in prize money, mind you. Or in marketing. Or even by doing something simple and zero-cost like officially renaming "FIFA World Cup " to "FIFA Men's World Cup.

The campaign features a large mosaic with photos of 96 prominent international soccer stars from around the globe – 48 men and 48 women – and the slogan "Each For Equal". There's no text or message to accompany it or explain FIFA's vision on the topic, just the hashtag.
