Oracle and Larry Ellison Go Silent on Snatching Huge SAP Customers

Six months ago, Larry Ellison publicly promised that in March, some of SAP's largest ERP customers would rip and replace those mission-critical systems and replace them with Oracle Cloud ERP.

In March, Ellison once again declared very publicly that loads of SAP's biggest customers were in the final stages of replacing SAP's on-premises ERP systems with Oracle Cloud ERP. It was, he said, just a matter of a little time.

Kiwi Energy Partners With Cinch Home Services to Offer Customers HVAC Protection for Their Homes

The premier offering available through the Cinch partnership will provide new customers with peace of mind in knowing that their heating and cooling systems are covered throughout the duration of their agreement with Kiwi Energy. This not only ensures comfortability but also promotes energy efficiencies for the home. These are very important factors at this time, with most people spending more time than usual in their place of residence.

When major home systems break down, it can be difficult to come up with the money to get them fixed — or to find a trustworthy service professional to get the job done.

The culture clash over requiring customers to wear masks

A handful of states around the country have made requirements for public face coverings in order to curb the spread of the coronavirus. Alaska is not one of them, which means individual business owners have to decide whether or not to require masks in their buildings.

Megan Cotter is the manager of ShuzyQs, a shoe store in South Anchorage. The store is requiring customers to wear masks. Cotter said that, at first, there didn't seem to be a problem.

Samsung Pay Is About To Get Much Better For Millions Of Customers In The U.K.

Samsung Pay is set for a major upgrade in the U.K. thanks to a partnership with payment card service Curve.

The new Samsung Pay Card powered by Curve should see smartphone owners benefit from a range of improvements that are currently available to Curve customers, such as support for a far greater range of banks and the ability to monitor spending across multiple cards more closely.

Curve customers can currently order a Mastercard which they can use as a single payment card for all of their different bank and credit card accounts. So, for example, a customer can pay for food shopping using their regular current account and then pay for clothes in the next shop on their credit card, with all transactions physically paid for using the same Curve Mastercard.
