"One of the biggest mistakes people make is buying furniture that's the wrong scale for the space," said Sheila Bridges , the New York-based interior designer. Giant lounge chairs, she noted, can easily overwhelm a small room.
But there are plenty of compact lounge chairs that provide an outsize dose of style and comfort in a smaller-than-average footprint.
"When you scale smaller, there's an opportunity to add more things, which is how you build a nice-looking interior space," Ms. Bridges said. "It's always easier to add to the furniture than subtract, once you've bought it."

Today, a Line user can find a brand's store, look for items, and finalise a purchase – all without leaving the messaging app. Line Official Accounts gives a wide range of communication options from sending push notifications and messages to targeted cohorts of users, informing them about new launches, pop-ups, discounts and other news.

Dear Abby: Pandemic shopping spree piles up packages - oregonlive.com
DEAR ABBY: For the past eight years, my son has been seeing "Tanya" and, according to him, she spends a lot. I'm concerned about it.
I'm tempted to say something to Tanya about the sudden increase in deliveries. Or should I keep quiet? We tell our son, but he always has no comment. Some days it's like Christmas Day for packages. -- PERPLEXED DAD IN CALIFORNIA
DEAR DAD: Your son and Tanya are adults. If anyone addresses her spending, it should be your son. I don't advise saying anything to Tanya because it's sure to be resented and could possibly cause a rift between you and your son. Talk to him one more time and explain your concern that his girlfriend is showing symptoms of being a spendaholic. But after that, drop it because the problem will be his, not yours, to solve.
