Superman & Lois will be apparently filming in Vancouver’s Shanghai Alley this Wednesday, with scenes that “involve our hero crashing into a fake store front.”
This news came courtesy of @anishkny and @yvrshoots on Twitter, who referred to a posted notice of filming. Fix West Texas, a nonprofit that provides spay, neutering and other services, will soon open a brick-and-mortar location after a year of offering pop-up clinics throughout the Permian Basin.
President Karen Patterson said the storefront at 5025 Princeton Ave. in Midland will be open Dec. 15 through Dec. 18 for a clinic. Beginning in January, they’re planning to offer clinics at the space a couple of times a week, she said.
The business provides low-cost services including spay, neutering, vaccinations, microchips and preventative medications.

FREEPORT, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — A two-alarm fire destroyed a storefront overnight in Freeport .

“This is my heart and soul,” said Suzzanne Serino of Duryea’s Flower Shop. She was overwhelmed with emotion hours after arranging bouquets at her family’s landmark flower shop. It was engulfed in flames. Firefighters from 10 departments tried to save the florist, a restaurant-deli and offices of a dance studio.
