Nearly a year after it closed because of the pandemic, Universal Studios Hollywood plans to reopen on weekends to let fans buy food, shop and wander throughout most of the 415-acre park that celebrates moviemaking.
The theme park plans to rehire several hundred workers who were previously furloughed to staff the event.
The Universal Studios event is called Taste of Universal, with tickets starting at $44 for adults, which includes five dishes. General parking is free, and preferred parking will cost $10. The Disney event, dubbed A Touch of Disney, will charge $75 for adults, which includes parking and a $25 dining card. Tickets for Knott's Taste of Boysenberry Festival are priced at $45 for adults, which includes parking and five food tastings.

2 from South Carolina charged, 1 wanted in connection with N.C. shopping center shooting | WBTW
EDEN, N.C. — Two people from South Carolina have been charged in connection to a shooting that happened in an Eden shopping center on Feb. 27, and one is still wanted by police, according to an Eden Police Department news release.
On Saturday, the Eden Police Department responded to Meadow Greens Shopping Center when they were told about shots being fired.
During the investigation into the shooting, investigators discovered all parties involved were from other states.
