Then, just a little over a year after forming an LLC for Storyhouse Bookpub, a small storefront next to Raygun on Grand Avenue in Des Moines' East Village opened up, and she didn't shy away from the opportunity, despite the fact that it was all happening sooner than she'd planned.
Paxton plans to open Storyhouse Bookpub early next month in the 400-square-foot space formerly belonging to Domestica at 505 East Grand Ave., Suite 102.

We started as an online business in NYC and relocated to Los Angeles in 2015 where we continued our online presence and began our retail partnerships with Santa Monica Seafood (Santa Monica and Costa Mesa locations), Monsieur Marcel Gourmet Market at the Grove, Fancifull Gift Baskets, Espresso Cielo (Main Street and 2 nd Street locations), Grow (South Bay and DTLA locations), Jackson Market, and biibiip.
In the spring of 2019, we secured a storefront location in Santa Monica. Our ultimate dream of opening our own shop was becoming reality! Tom designed our space and continues to add amazing installations (our heroes “wall”) and change-up our décor and ambiance.

Now, they’re looking to expand by knocking down the wall to the adjacent empty storefront, nearly doubling their floor space and inventory.
“Our current space is relatively small, which means that unfortunately at times we haven’t been able to do the community events we’ve wanted to,” said Holland.
