PUC lifts utility service termination moratorium, assistance available to customers | Bradford |

ERIE — The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) has lifted the utility service termination moratorium, National Fuel Gas Distribution Corp. announced Wednesday.

Effective today, utilities can resume service terminations through the regular process set forth by PUC regulations. Customers with payment difficulties should call National Fuel Customer Service, 1-800-365-3234, to discuss the many payment options and financial assistance sources available.

AG finds non-utility customers overcharged for electricity | WWLP

BOSTON (SHNS) – Massachusetts residents who get their power through competitive electric suppliers paid $426 million more over five years than they would have if they’d stayed with their utility companies, according to a new report from Attorney General Maura Healey.

“Our report shows that these companies continue to drain millions from communities across our state, and worse, our most vulnerable neighbors are being hit hardest in the midst of a deadly pandemic,” Healey said in a statement.

PennDOT customers reminded to use caution when renewing their license, registration online -

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) on Wednesday reminded its customers to exercise caution while renewing their driver's license or vehicle registration online, and to make sure that they're on PennDOT's official Driver and Vehicle Services website for making these transactions.

For the safety of its customers' identities, PennDOT said in a release that it will never ask for, nor accept, any identity documents over the internet or over text messages for any reason. Any website or text message claiming to provide this service is not affiliated with PennDOT, the release said. As such, customers should not submit any images of personal documents to such websites or texts as they will not be transmitted to PennDOT and could be used for fraudulent purposes.

Iconic Tribeca Poster Store's Retail Space for Lease

The retail space at 122 Chambers Street that's occupied by Philip Williams Posters, a neighborhood mainstay for more than 40 years, is currently available for lease, according to a notice from Lee & Associates. In an extensive press release, which accompanies a website, Facebook and Instagram pages, the travel initiative's creators claimed it was in response "to a year of adversity and commercial hardship".

Fox News Targets Late-Night Hosts With 'Gutfeld' Hollywood Billboard

Fox News has put up a billboard right in the heart of Hollywood to promote Greg Gutfeld’s upcoming show “Gutfeld!” as part of its advertising push for the network’s first-ever hour-long late-night program.

The billboard went up on Tuesday on Hollywood Boulevard and is located right near the El Capitan Theatre, where Jimmy Kimmel shoots his late-night program. It shows Gutfeld pointing (presumably at Kimmel) with the tagline “Cancel Culture Just Got Cancelled!” The advert will remain up until April 25.
