Virginia DMV offering new mobile check in to customers

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Virginia DMV customers are now allowed to check in with their cellphone when they arrive for their appointment.

Now, anyone who shows up with their appointment can use their phone to scan a QR code inside the DMV. Then they just answer any questions that may pop up and wait for their number to be called.

Lindsey is the second-youngest of 15 siblings. When she was growing up, she was always interested in what her mother and sisters were wearing. "I used to dress up all the time. I would change 10 times a day," she recalled.

Chewy CMO Mark Eamer on pets as customers and building brand growth | Ad Age

It’s doing so under the helm of a new chief marketing officer. Mark Eamer joined 11-year-old Chewy late last year after working for two decades at Amazon, most recently as VP of advertising, product and media.

For its most recent quarter, reported in late March, Chewy generated $2.4 billion in net sales, a 17% rise over the year-earlier period. The company recently debuted a brand campaign called “Chatty Pets” with 72andSunny.

Local home gas customers could see rate hike | WYTV

CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – Those who get their natural gas from an aggregation supplier in the city of Canfield are likely to see some higher rates later this spring.

Volunteer Energy Services, which had been serving as the supplier for Columbia Gas in the city has gone into bankruptcy. It means the city has to find a new aggregation service.

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — "Elastic" is the word Boeing's President of Commercial Satellites Ryan Reid uses to describe the relationship between the company's commercial, government and small satellite divisions.

Here's what he means by that. When his team used digital technologies to significantly shrink the size of its traditional satellite communications payload, they no longer needed as much room to build it. So, they shifted to a smaller space.
