Gann's Auto Sales is 'fair and honest' with customers | Business | djournal.com

Gann's Auto Sales in New Albany is a friendly and honest place to purchase a vehicle, the owner said.

Located at 1046 State Highway 30 West, the business has been open for more than two years. It is owned and operated by Rickey Gann and his wife, Julie.

"St. Jude's been good to us," said Julie, adding that the child now "goes to school like a regular kid."

Prior to opening Gann's Auto Sales, Rickey would have to miss doctor's appointments at St. Jude because he had to work. By having his own busines, he can now pick up and go when he needs to.

Xapo to Discontinue Service to US Customers in March - CoinDesk

After attaining a banking license in Gibraltar, the company realized that it would need to set up a separate organization to comply with U.S. banking regulations, in a market without strong demand for their specific services.

“Serving the U.S. market would require quite a lot of effort, time and investment, it would require a separate organization within Xapo to support it and it would still yield a worse product than what we can offer internationally,” Casares added.

While it may be too soon to tell if this artistic uprising will help spark a new mural movement for social and racial justice — like the community mural movement of the 1960s, '70s and beyond — these actions at least demonstrated that the right and the power of the people to use art publicly to portray urgent messages of solidarity and resistance, on their own terms, will not be infringed.

The initiative, dubbed the Open Storefronts program, was launched at the end of October and will now be in operation until Sept. 30, 2021. Report: Digital Skimming Attacks Found on Shopify, BigCommerce, Zencart and WooCommerce Stores

Online skimming attacks are also known as Magecart attacks. In a Magecart attack, personal transaction data is intercepted during the checkout phase of the infected online store and sent to the hacker group that developed the exploit. The personal data could be sold or traded on the darknet or used by the hacker(s) for their own purpose.

Typically digital commerce skimming attacks are more easily found on self-hosted open-source platforms, especially older systems such as the Magento 1 Community Edition that is no longer supported by the original developers and may have old unpatched vulnerabilities.

Ecommerce dominated holiday shopping this year - Business Insider - Business Insider

US ecommerce sales grew 47.2% annually between November 1 and December 24, according to recent Mastercard SpendingPulse data cited by The Wall Street Journal. Key categories that helped boost sales in the period were furniture and home improvement, which saw sales growth of 16.2% and 14.1% year over year (YoY) between October 11 and December 24, respectively.

Overall retail sales only grew 2.4% annually between November 1 and December 24, likely hampered by declines in foot traffic as consumers steered away from in-store shopping amid the coronavirus pandemic: In the seven days leading up to December 24, foot traffic was down 31.3% compared with 2019.
