How Amazon Won Shopping - The New York Times

Amazon most likely passed Walmart recently as the biggest retail seller outside China, as my colleagues Karen Weise and Michael Corkery wrote on Tuesday.

Some of you reading this might be surprised that Amazon wasn't already selling more than Walmart. Nope. Remember that people in most countries, including the United States, still do the vast majority of their shopping in stores. That makes it all the more remarkable that Amazon has gotten so big.

Police seize shopping mall's illegal alligator fish after it bit shopper | KJZZ

The 3.3-foot long alligator gar , which can grow up to double the size, is among the largest freshwater fish in North America. Adult gars are generally 4 to 6 feet long and weigh 100 to 160 pounds, according to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. It is illegal to import the fish into Israel.

Meet the Long Island guys who love unloved shopping malls - MarketWatch

Now they rank among the biggest all-cash buyers of the nation's hard-luck malls.

The duo, through Namdar Realty Group and Mason Asset Management out of Great Neck, Long Island, currently owns about 60 million square feet of shopping center space, including roughly of 100 open-air properties are 65 enclosed malls. That kind of footprint puts them in league with Macerich Co.

New shopping center, including Publix, to open in eTown by 2023 – 104.5 WOKV

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A new shopping center is coming to eTown by 2023, including a Publix within walking distance for residents.

The developers of eTown, the PARC Group, and the Davis Family Company announced the new additions Tuesday.

The Publix will host a 48,000-square-foot supermarket, plus a Publix Liquor and Publix drive-thru pharmacy.
