Power outages impacting more than 4,000 Xcel customers in the Denver metro area were reported Thursday morning, mostly west of downtown.
The worst of the outages is in Lakewood, near the intersection of Alameda Avenue and Union Boulevard. Xcel Energy first reported that outage around 7 a.m. and said it impacted 2,922 customers.
