The wonders of Woodland Home Marketplace | TheFencePost.com

Well, as of 2019, an Eaton, Colo., former sheep farm sure did. Technically abandoned for the previous seven years, the 146-acre property that had previously housed up to 35,000 sheep for 50 years, sold to Ryan Woodland.

Whatever had been the scenario all the prior years, the man had been unable to sell for his asking price. So he simply — and instantly — had let all his employees and sheep go; and then he left.

Continuum unveils its on-demand access marketplace for top-tier executive talent –

It's difficult for startups on a small budget to attract executives with the knowledge base to propel them forward, but Continuum , a talent marketplace for fractional employees, doesn't think it should be.

The remote-first company, which launched today, has been quietly developing a tool that matches venture-backed companies with executives who have been-there-done-that, but don't want to be tied down again by a full-time position.

Called Fullbay Marketplace, the platform is aimed at heavy duty parts procurement, according to a press release. Cost, availability and shipping times are part of the listings. It also allows for users to find landed costs for each part, the company says.
