Over 50,000 Massachusetts customers without power days after nor'easter - masslive.com

As of 9 a.m. Saturday, 53,915 Massachusetts homes and businesses remain without power, according to MEMA's power outage map. Outages are largely focused south of Boston, with multiple communities reporting the majority of residents still without power.

The storm battered the state's coastal communities with wind gusts as high as 94 miles per hour. Between Tuesday night and Wednesday, winds tore trees from the ground, dropped branches and utility poles, pushed boats aground , and picked up a small plane tethered down at an airport.
