Online fraud causes confidence gap between customers and retailers, study finds | VentureBeat

As ecommerce increased during the pandemic, so did fraud. According to a new survey by Riskified, in the U.S.

A confidence gap between retailers and consumers globally was also unearthed; more than half (55%) of all retailers said they were confident in their ability to prevent ecommerce-related fraud, even though only 34% of consumers trust in retailers' ability to do so.

Tesla opens 'Full Self-Driving' beta software to more customers - The Verge

Despite the head of the National Transportation Safety Board expressing serious concerns about its safety last week, Tesla has now enabled access to the beta of its "Full Self-Driving" (FSD) program to more Tesla drivers, via a "request" button on Teslas' dashboard screens.

The score is tabulated using data collected by sensors on the driver's Tesla, and considers instances of forward collision warnings per 1,000 miles, hard braking, aggressive turning, unsafe following, and forced Autopilot disengagement.

Octopus to take on failed Avro Energy's 580,000 stranded customers | Utilities | The Guardian

Octopus had 2.5 million customers before the announcement, and Sunday's move takes this to about 3.1 million.

Ofgem said the switchover from Avro to Octopus would take effect immediately, and that while this news "may be unsettling", customers did not need to worry. Outstanding credit balances, including money owed to current and former Avro users, would be honoured.

Businesses score big with customers during football season

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Football is back! Who are you rooting for? Well, some local businesses are scoring big with extra customers during football season.

Harknocks on the Island in Corpus Christi said they have been seeing more customers on Sundays and also Thursdays and Mondays because many people come out to their business to watch football. That means extra food and alcohol sales for the sports bar.

Customers Got High After Cannabis Firm Mixed up CBD and THC Say Regulators

A cannabis regulator has issued a product recall after customers reported getting high after taking cannabidiol (CBD), which they did not realize had psychoactive tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) instead.

The Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) issued a report on Friday that said it had uncovered why customers had gotten high after using CBD products that were supposedly made from hemp.
