ROANOKE, Va. – Calling all dog moms and dog dads: a new and improved dog boutique just reopened its doors in Roanoke.

The owners said this expansion wouldn't have been possible without the love and support from the community.

Flint woman's skin care business that began in one-bedroom apartment flourishes into storefront -

FLINT, MI — La'Asia Johnson started experimenting four year ago with different recipes to create skin and hair care products that would be better and more effective for her to use after experiencing a break out of rashes from store-bought products.

Over the course of several years, interest in those initial products that she created to cater to her skin grew more popular than Johnson expected.

Plain Jane's Fried Pies & More Opens Storefront in Lubbock

I am deeply proud of my darling friends at Plain Jane's- not only are they just wonderful people, but they have also worked incredibly hard to get where they are today. They've successfully operated a food truck and now are on to even bigger and better endeavors.

Where are they "today"? In a darling storefront at 3407 98th, Suite 600. They soft-opened Thursday night, and will probably have unfixed hours for just a bit while they get everything settled. I recommend following them on Facebook to keep up with their hours in the interim.

Triangle of faith, love and service aids thousands | Faith Matters - nj.com

When I walked into the storefront that has been transformed into the Triangle Park Community Center, I thought, "What could they do in this cramped space with a commercial refrigerator, tables and a dozen people doing all kinds of things?" Evidently, quite a lot.

Volunteer Joan Gray comes all the way from Paulus Hook in the city's Downtown section and takes registrations for North Porch, which she said allows people to come every three months.
