How To Build A Service That Works For Your Customers 24/7

Some services have a 24/7 assistant — a team member on 'night duty' or always present on all hours of the day that can assist if the customer needs help. This can range from questions about shipment speeds to more in-depth needs about account or billing info. Or, the assistant functionality can simply mean the customer can help themselves because of the number of resources available on the website.

To see if your website or service could use some more information or resources, ask a few people who have never been on your site to peruse it. Then, ask them to purchase something or order something — whatever your main call to action is for the customers who come on your website. See if they run into issues or have questions that they have to ask you. Always be looking for feedback on how you can make the process as easy and transparent as possible for your customers.

Mariano's and other Kroger grocery stores stop giving customers coin change - Chicago Sun-Times

Citing a coin shortage at the Federal Reserve, the grocery company is loading coin change onto loyalty cards or encouraging customers to round up for charity.

Customers paying in cash at Mariano's and other Kroger grocery stores will no longer receive coin change.

Cashiers can load coin change onto loyalty cards to go toward a future shopping trip, or customers can opt to round up their total and donate to the grocer's public charity, the Kroger Co. Zero Hunger | Zero Waste Foundation, which helps reduce waste and hunger in communities. Or they can abandon paying in cash all together and instead use a credit or debit card.

Walmart and Sam's Club will require customers to wear a face mask in their stores starting Monday to help reduce the spread of coronavirus.

The stores follow Costco in imposing a mask mandate for shoppers, but Lakeland-based Publix as well as Winn-Dixie's Jacksonville parent company do not have similar companywide rules.

Walmart stores will have a single entrance where an employee with a new title of Health Ambassador will work with people who show up without masks, according to a news release from Walmart U.S. chief operating officer Dacona Smith and Sam's Club chief operating officer Lance de la Rosa.
