Though Election Day is a week away, President Donald Trump's campaign appears to have a victory ad ready to go on Facebook .
A video in the ad shows the president's face superimposed on a sun, with a voiceover pulled from various sources. "It's morning in America. Donald J. Trump is still president of the United States," the video says. Flowers rise from the ground and open to faces, who scream, "NOOOO!" as the smiling president, now also a hummingbird, flits around.

Marketers Underuse Ad Experiments. That’s a Big Mistake.
Business experimentation is—rightfully—framed as a gold standard by scholars and leading practitioners , but the practice has yet to find its way into most firms’ day-to-day advertising strategy. That’s a big mistake. E-commerce companies that conduct ad experiments see two to three percent better performance per experiment run (as measured by purchases achieved per advertising dollar spent).
Recently, I gave a talk to 30 senior digital growth managers on how to use business experimentation effectively. I started the session with a brief survey: Who had run experiments with their website and app — for example, testing different layouts, colors, designs, or onboarding experiences? Close to 90% of hands rose in response.
Trump campaign shifts Florida ad spend burden to RNC
Correction: This story has been updated to include context that was missing from an earlier version on additional spending planned by the Republican National Committee on President Donald Trump's behalf.
President Donald Trump's campaign has slashed its advertising budget in Florida, relying on the Republican National Committee to carry the message there as it moves resources to the industrial northern states that carried him to victory in 2016.
Since Labor Day, Trump has cut $24 million from his national ad budget, while former Vice President Joe Biden has added $197 million. Biden has outspent Trump three-to-one over that time nationally.
Ad Campaign Targets Carney’s Cease-and-Desist Order | WGMD
Citizens for Transparency and Inclusion , a Delaware-based Political Action Committee, is airing a new aid that criticizes Governor John Carney for his campaign’s attempt to get media outlets to stop running a recent CTI ad.
With just a week before voters head to the polls, it's more important than ever that First State residents know the extent of Governor Carney's failures of Delaware's most vulnerable communities, including inmates, low-income Delawareans, and people of color," Citizens for Transparency and Inclusion spokesman Chris Coffey said.

Just as the internet and startup economy irreversibly disrupted the media business, the world of political campaign advertising has been flooded with options beyond the traditional television and print options. Social media, text messaging, direct mail, YouTube and other options are all in the mix for 2020.
"The thing I'm seeing this cycle is that the candidates are employing an 'all of the above approach,'" said Barry Burden, a political science professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison who studies campaign advertising. "They are advertising on every outlet and platform they can get access to, (but) there is a continuation of earlier trends where candidates look beyond TV outlets."
