Bloomreach's Commerce Pulse Data for September 2020 shows that searches for 'Christmas' appeared in the top 20 of search terms in September, one month earlier than in 2019; while related terms such as stockings and ornaments are also entering the list of top searches over the same period. Bloomreach forecasts that this holiday season online retail will increase between 36%-38% over Holiday 2019, which will make this holiday season the greatest spike in online shopping in history.

Allure designed the issue around the shopping integrations, recognizing that in-person trips are on hold for many consumers.
Personal safety is a key issue for shoppers, especially consumers of beauty products. The percentage of women who said they felt unsafe trying on beauty products hovered around 80% from April to July, according to a tracking survey by retail analytics company First Insight. That percentage is higher than the 68% of women who said they felt unsafe trying on clothing in dressing rooms, and 61% who were wary of trying on shoes.
